Merchanting in the grand exchange is easy if you know how. There are many different ways. Some of them are simple: Buying the item for lowest and then selling it for maximum. But this isn’t efficient at all. Whenever you merchant, you should allow yourself 7-8% profit. No More, No less. This ensures a steady income, yet a good one and without major time loss. One thing very important in merchanting is to add your profit everyday to your capital. This will make you a lot more money than just merchanting with the same amount of money.

Example: Allowing a 10% profit (just as an example), a person merchants using 10million gold and doesn’t add his profits to the merchant capital. He will achieve 20 million gold in 10 days. But if he adds his profits to the merchant he will achieve 20 million gold in just 6 days Hence in this case, it was 40% more efficient to add profit to merchant capital.

Deciding what to merchant is perhaps the most challenging prospect. Ask yourself, is this item in demand, will people be willing to sell this item for a low price and still people buying it high for too? Is this item good enough? What impact does it have on the game?

The fastest way to level mining is by power mining. Power mining is where you mine the iron ore and then drop it on the spot. Iron ore is the fastest xp you can get, at about 45k to 55k xp an hour. But, this is now impossible as it requires 3 ores to be in a v like shape, but that was taken away with the latest update. You can still mine the 3 ores in alkarad but you will have to walk. Another way to mine is to mine coal in the mining guild, level 60 mining required, or 59 + stout. You can do a lot of things in the mine, one of them would be to mine mithril ore and coal ore then super heat and turn into bars, when you have a full inventory, bank and repeat. This is 8k less xp an hour then power mining iron.

Woodcutting:
Woodcutting is a good money making skill once you get to level 60 woodcutting. Chopping down yew logs at level 60 is very slow, so the higher you are the better. To get to level 60 woodcutting, cut willows at either Lumbrige or Draynor. I would recommend Draynor but it is always crowded. Willow is a lot faster xp then yews but they don’t sell very well, it takes a long, long time.
